Properly prescribed medications are a key part of psychiatric recovery. Medication, however, is only part of the equation. Wellness refers to the concept that to be fully well, to be healthy, we must be MINDFUL of many other factors in our lives as well.
We must thoughtfully consider the other vitally important components to our health such as proper diet, minimization of toxins, reasonable exercise, resolution of psychological conflict as well as our spiritual well being. Without these, medication response will be basically incomplete.
