Psychiatric Care Post COVID
A lot has changed in the past 3 years, some for the better, while others we
are happy to put in the rear-view mirror. Our reception staff has assumed a greater
role in patient care since the onset of the pandemic and we are
ready to loosen some of our COVID procedures.
Telemedicine has made scheduling for patients a convenience, but we do need
to see patients in-person at a minimum of one to two visits annually depending on patient's health status. We no longer request patients to call from the parking lot before
entering our office or complete a health screen.
We continue to disinfect reception areas, run air purifiers in multiple areas
in our office, and MASKS are optional in our office.
Telemedicine appointments must be conducted in a safe environment.
If driving a vehicle, PARK before checking-in.
