Psychiatric Care Post COVID
A lot has changed in the past 3 years, some for the better, while others we
are happy to put in the rear-view mirror. Our reception staff has assumed a greater
role in patient care since the onset of the pandemic and we are
ready to loosen some of our COVID procedures.
Telemedicine has made scheduling for patients a convenience, but we do need to see patients in-person at a minimum of one to two visits annually depending on patient's health status. We no longer request patients to call from the parking lot before entering our office. We have removed the plexiglass sneeze guards in the clinician rooms and condensed our in-person health screen to 3 questions.
We continue to disinfect reception areas, run air purifiers in multiple areas
in our office, and MASKS are now optional in our office.
Telemedicine appointments must be conducted in a safe environment.
If driving a vehicle, PARK before checking-in.
