Adria Trapani-Barnacz, RN, LPC, LCADC
Adria Trapani-Barnacz, Clinical Coordinator is a Bachelor level Register-ed Nurse (BSN) and will be completing an MSN in 2022 from Walden University. She is pursuing licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). In addition, Adria has a BA in Psychology from The College of New Jersey, and an MA in Applied Clinical Psychology from William Paterson University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in the State of New Jersey.
As the Clinical Coordinator at PFCA, Adria works closely with Dr. Fernandez and oversees all day to day clinical issues for the practice, such as medication orders, prior authorizations, urgent patient care needs, as well as, collaboration with ancillary providers and family. She is instrumental in directing content for our quarterly patient newsletter “PFCA Wellness Update”. |
Adria's role as a Registered Nurse combines her mental health experience with a holistic understanding of the body. Working under the supervision of Dr. Fernandez, she conducts annual patient chart reviews and comprehensive assessments evaluating for medication efficacy, side effects, and the patient’s biopsychosocial spiritual needs across the wellness continuum.
Adria has been working in psychiatric settings since 2000, and has specialized in assessment, differential diagnosis, and making treatment recommendations for patients aged 16 through adulthood in a variety of settings. She has participated in treatment program development, clinical trainings, and professional presentations. In her time a PFCA she collaborated with Dr. Fernandez to develop our Parent Psycho-educational Group, "Helping Your Emerging Adult Make Adult Decisions".
Adria works in our Princeton office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
